In Remembrance of Those Who Served - Veterans' Day : Today in Family History

In Remembrance of Those Who Served - Veterans' Day

by Timothy Klitz on 11/06/17

This weekend on November 11th marks the 98th observance of Armistice Day, or Veterans' Day.  Ninety-eight years ago the First World War ended at the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

We remember those in our family history who have served in the U.S. military and those few who gave their lives in that service.

This list does not include everyone who has served.  It includes those family members born before about 1920 and where we have found official confirmation of service.

This list should grow.  If you know of an ancestor who served, but is not on this list, please add a comment adding their name.
